AgileEngine in Portugal is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and embed secure coding into software development and cloud workflows.
You will engineer AI-enabled secure code scanning, automate secure coding patterns, and integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines, while enabling runtime CSPM checks for cloud environments.
The role offers flextime with remote and office options and the chance to work on Fortune 500 projects.
Formación
- 3+ years of combined software engineering and security experience.
- Strong Python coding for security automation.
- Hands-on with Wiz, Prisma Cloud or similar tools for cloud security posture management and threat detection.
- Experience deploying and evaluating IaC/Terraform in security contexts.
- Experience with CSPM runtime checks for cloud environments.
- Ability to operate autonomously with minimal supervision and to map out automated security runbooks.
Responsabilidades
- Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and secure-from-the-start runbooks.
- Automate secure coding patterns and integrate with CI/CD workflows, including Agentic SDLC concepts.
- Architect integration of SAST/DAST/SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines and tune to reduce noise.
- Implement runtime security checks via CSPM for continuous cloud visibility and threat posture management.
- Provide code-level remediation guidance to developers through expert review of Java/Python code.
