The role combines frontend and backend development in a hybrid work model with 2 days per week in the office, based in Porto, Portugal. Fluent Portuguese and English are mandatory for effective collaboration.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on with Python & FastAPI.
• Mid-level Angular & TypeScript experience.
• Strong HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and responsive design knowledge.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Good knowledge of Git, Agile/Scrum and CI/CD concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent Portuguese — mandatory, English B2 or above — mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain frontend features using Angular & TypeScript.
• Build backend APIs with Python & FastAPI.
• Ensure frontend/backend integration end-to-end.
• Work with REST APIs, SQL and Git.
• Implement unit and integration tests.
• Apply secure coding practices and OWASP guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications.
• Collaborate with Tech Lead and development team.

We’re looking for a Python (FastAPI) & Angular Developer to join a collaborative technology team based in Porto, working on innovative solutions within the financial services sector.

Location: Porto, Portugal

Work model: Hybrid — 2 days per week in the office

What will you be doing?

• Develop and maintain frontend features using Angular & TypeScript
• Build stable, secure, and efficient backend APIs using Python & FastAPI
• Develop end-to-end features and ensure seamless frontend/backend integration
• Work with REST APIs, SQL and Git
• Implement unit and integration tests
• Apply secure coding practices and OWASP guidelines
• Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum ceremonies
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize applications
• Work closely with the Tech Lead and the wider development team

What are we looking for?
