ITDS Portugal is seeking a Senior Python Backend Developer for financial services, based in Porto with a hybrid work model. You will build robust backend systems and RESTful APIs using Python frameworks, collaborate with frontend teams, and ensure data integrity across relational databases.

The role requires strong backend expertise, 9+ years in software development, and good English. Experience with Docker and CI/CD is a plus, in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.

Qualificações

• 9+ years of professional software development experience.
• Backend focus with Python and REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL).
• Frontend integration with Angular/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive design.
• Git, Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban), and CI/CD basics.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend logic using Python and FastAPI.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate APIs and optimize data flows.
• Design and optimize relational database schemas.
• Apply best practices in version control, reviews, and Agile workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues, ensuring system stability and security.
• Adopt DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines and Docker as needed.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver fintech solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented, secure code.
