Job summary

Claranet limited is seeking a Public Cloud (Junior/Middle) professional to join our Lisbon or Porto teams. You will work on cloud engineering/support across AWS and Azure, designing and maintaining IaaS/PaaS, and building CI/CD pipelines with Terraform.

You will contribute to automation, monitoring, and security, while collaborating with colleagues to resolve complex cloud issues and optimize environments for performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 12th degree (minimum) or University degree in IT-related field.
• Hands-on experience in public cloud engineering/support.
• Proven hands-on experience with at least one of AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of IaaS and PaaS services, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• At least one professional-level cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
• Good level of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Experience in cloud engineering/support across AWS and Azure.
• Design, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of IaaS and PaaS services in multi-cloud environments.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Proficiency in automation and operational tasks.
• Provide support, troubleshoot, and optimize environments across Azure and AWS for availability, performance and security.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools; perform root-cause analysis and incident resolution.
• Knowledge of identity and access management, networking, and cloud security best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve complex cloud-related issues.
