Job summary

Corum Asset Management is seeking a property accounting professional in Lisbon to develop relationships with operational teams and handle AR/AP tasks, tenant billing, and service charge reconciliations. You will monitor rents, manage bad debt procedures and grow into a SME in property accounting, using Yardi for reporting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with asset managers and accounting colleagues, Excel proficiency, and experience with commercial and multi-tenant properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting (AP/AR) or property accounting.
• Experience with YARDI ERP is a strong asset.
• Experience with commercial and multi-tenant properties is valued.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Develop effective relationships with operational departments, asset and property managers, accounting teams and other stakeholders.
• Support the asset management team with AR/AP tasks and other activities.
• Manage tenant billing for rents and service charges.
• Support annual service charge reconciliations and meet deadlines.
• Monitor unpaid rents and manage bad debt procedures and reporting.
• Develop into a SME in property accounting processes and back up other property accountants.
• Use Yardi software for property accounting and financial reporting tasks.
