Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, Building Science, or Construction Technology.
  • An MSc in Construction Management, MBA in PM, or MSc in Civil Engineering is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Knowledge of safety, legal, and regulatory standards in construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Projects for planning and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and delegate responsibilities efficiently.
  • Strong time management and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining quality.

Responsabilidades

  • Optimize labour, materials, and equipment use for cost-effective procurement.
  • Plan, budget, and identify resources to maximize project efficiency.
  • Maintain exceptional health and safety standards on site.
  • Develop the project team and assign responsibilities with senior leadership.
  • Manage budget and financial exposure within the project.
  • Ensure activities adhere to the project program and timelines.
  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and labourers.
  • Monitor progress and hold regular status meetings with sub-teams.
  • Ensure adherence to quality and environmental standards.
  • Populate and use the Project Control System (PCS) effectively.
  • Liaise with the client and review all deliverables before submission.

Role Description

As a Project Manager – CSA (Civil, Structural, and Architectural), you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring smooth execution, cost efficiency, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and under the guidance and leadership of the Project Director and Group Construction Director, you will manage project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, contract administration, and team coordination.

Your role will be pivotal in optimizing project resources, maintaining compliance, and ensuring successful project delivery while upholding exceptional health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize the use of labour, materials, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective procurement and utilization.
  • Play a key role in project planning, budgeting, and resource identification to ensure project efficiency.
  • Uphold exceptional health and safety standards across the construction site.
  • Develop the project team and assign individual operational responsibilities in coordination with the Senior Project Manager and Project Director.
  • Oversee project accounting functions, managing the budget while minimizing financial exposure and risk.
  • Ensure construction activities adhere to the project program and timelines.
  • Devise and revise project programs in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager and Project Director.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Coordinate the efforts of all project participants, including architects, consultants, subcontractors, and labourers.
  • Monitor construction progress regularly and hold status meetings with sub-teams.
  • Maintain strict adherence to quality and environmental standards throughout the project.
  • Ensure that the Project Control System (PCS) is populated and utilized effectively by all team members.
  • Serve as a key liaison with the client, reviewing all deliverables before submission.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, Building Science, or Construction Technology, or other relevant qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • An MSc in Construction Management, MBA in Project Management, or MSc in Civil Engineering is a strong advantage.
