This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, interfacing with external clients, and driving profitability while identifying new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or a related IT field.
• More than 3 years of professional experience in Project Management.
• Proven experience managing external clients and service delivery contracts within public administration projects.
• Strong knowledge of full project lifecycle and responsibility for PM decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from kickoff to closure, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and resources are delivered as agreed.
• Act as the main interface with external clients, managing expectations and fostering long-term relationships.
• Coordinate service delivery contracts within public sector environments.
• Gather and analyse business and functional requirements with stakeholders.
• Support and guide technical teams to ensure proper understanding and delivery of solutions.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop project teams in a collaborative environment.
• Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure project profitability and contribute to identifying new business opportunities.
• Coordinate ongoing support and evolution of delivered solutions.
• Document and promote best practices and continuous improvement.

Mandatory requirements

• Higher education degree in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, or a related IT field
• More than 3 years of professional experience in Project Management
• Proven experience managing external clients and service delivery contracts within public administration projects
• Strong experience managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, with ownership of critical project management decisions
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching, team motivation, and conflict resolution
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk‑mitigation skills
• Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (traditional and/or agile)
• Business‑oriented mindset with focus on project profitability and growth opportunities
• Full availability to travel to client sites within the Lisbon area

Nice to have
