You will provide technical guidance, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery while advancing hydrogen technologies.

Ideal candidates have a engineering degree, 5+ years in design and engineering, strong communication skills, and fluency in English and Portuguese.

We are a dynamic and fast‑growing engineering company specialized in multi‑disciplinary projects and we are looking for a talented Project Engineer to join our team in Porto. We are also based in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) and Ploiesti (Romania).

Project Engineer with good communication skills Wanted!

A Project Engineer is a key member of an engineering team, responsible for leading technical projects from conception to completion.

As the technical focal point for our clients, the Project Engineer will be responsible for:

• Providing technical support and guidance to clients
• Ensuring that projects are delivered in a timely and cost‑effective manner
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure project success
• Staying up‑to‑date with industry developments and emerging technologies in hydrogen technology
• Site visits when required (collecting site information, technical assistance, etc.)
• Attend meetings with clients together with Project Manager and/or engineers

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field)
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in design and engineering
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with clients and cross‑functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Abilities in using Microsoft Office package
• Experience in using and applying international standards and norms
• Strong knowledge of hydrogen technologies, processes and systems, as well as a good understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Problem‑solving skills: Ability to identify, analyse and solve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner
• Safety awareness: Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the hydrogen industry
• Fluent English and Portuguese
