Robert Bosch Group in Braga, Portugal, seeks a Project Coordinator & Mechanical Designer to lead project planning and coordinate BMG machine projects to Portugal, while providing quick mechanical designs and technical coaching.

Reporting to BMG Spain, you will be the local representative in Portugal, maintaining close customer contact and promoting Bosch’s solutions. Expect client acquisition, opportunity identification, and active project management across Braga and Portugal.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical Engineering.
• Familiarity with production lines, automation and assembly environments.
• Good mechanical design skills and experience.
• Proficient use of IT tools (e.g. SAP, MS Office).
• Willingness to travel (Portugal and Spain).
• High motivation to take on responsibility and ambitious challenges.
• Strong empathy and ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Team player with a cooperative mindset.
• Independent, reliable and responsible working style.
• Mechanical design: 3D, tolerance-chain calculation, drawings.

The role combines business development and project management responsibilities to support and expand BMG business and influence.

The role is responsible for the coordination of BMG machine projects going to Portugal and support the team with quick mechanical designs and technical coaching.

While reporting to and being supported by the BMG Spain, the role acts as the local representative of BMG Spain in Portugal, main location in Braga, maintaining close customer contact and promoting the company’s technical solutions locally.

Mechanical Responsibilities

• To be able to do quick designs and with the time full machine design
• Supporting the BMG team in Braga with technical opinion and sketches
• Participation on technical discussions, internally and with customers

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical Engineering;
• Familiarity with production lines, automation and assembly environments;
• Good mechanical design skills and experience;
• Proficient use of IT tools (e.g. SAP, MS Office);
• Willingness to travel (Portugal and Spain);
