Bontaz Portugal, the Development Center of the Bontaz Group, plans and coordinates the development of system-integrated parts, managing activities from design to completion while ensuring compliance with technical standards, quality, cost, and deadlines.

We seek candidates with strong experience in design development, ideally in automotive, and fluent English; French and Portuguese skills are highly valued for direct customer interaction and leading product development.

Responsabilidades

• Manages the development of a system or subsystem from the beginning of the project to the SOP.
• Takes into account the specifications and deploys the associated design.
• Ensures milestones are met and implements necessary activities.
• Produces product and process FMEAs.
• Creates the DVP and conducts tests.
• Involves technical experts as needed and seeks external expertise.
• Tracks milestones and consolidates technical data in PLM at required maturity.
• Participates in prototype fabrication.
• Monitors Quality/Technical/Cost/Time indicators.
• May conduct tests to gather feedback on prototypes.

As a Develepment Center, at Bontaz Portugal, we are pioneers in engineering and technology, continuously pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the automotive sectors.

The main responsibilities will be:

• Manages the development of a system or subsystem from the beginning of the project to the SOP;
• Takes into account the specifications and deploys the associated design;
• Ensures that standard milestones are met, implementing the activities necessary to achieve them;
• Is responsible for the production of product and process FMEAs;
• Ensures the creation of the DVP and the conduct of the associated tests;
• Assists in design by involving technical experts or by seeking technical expertise from outside;
• Carries forward to milestones for topics within its scope;
• Ensures that all technical data is consolidated in the PLM at the expected maturity level for each milestone;
• Participates in the manufacture of prototypes;
• Manages objectives and monitors Quality/Technical/Cost/Time indicators;
• As part of the missions entrusted to him/her, he/she may occasionally carry out tests in order to collect feedback concerning the use and technicality of the prototype components assembled.

Profile

We are looking for a candidate with strong experience in design development, ideally within the automotive industry, which will be considered a significant advantage. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory, with French required and Portuguese essential for direct customer interaction and leading product development.

Salary range: 20.300€-43.400€ Annual Base Salary+ Meal allowance
