A Yazaki Europe Middle East And Africa procura um Program Manager para integrar a equipa em Ovar, Portugal. O candidato gerirá programas multi-regionais, coordenando equipes multifuncionais e assegurando a satisfação do cliente.

É exigida formação em Engenharia ou Administração, pelo menos 2 anos de experiência em gestão de projetos e forte inglês. A empresa oferece condições de trabalho flexíveis e oportunidades de aprendizagem contínua.

Qualificações

• Bacharel em Engenharia ou Administração de Empresas.
• Excelente habilidade de comunicação escrita e falada em inglês.
• Conhecimento sólido de princípios e métodos de Gestão de Projetos (GPM/IPMA ou similar).
• Excelentes competências de comunicação, moderação e analíticas.
• Ótimas capacidades de liderança.
• Mínimo de 2 anos de experiência como Project Manager.

Responsabilidades

• Conduzir programas que abrangem múltiplos projetos ou programas regionais.
• Gerir relacionamento com o cliente e coordenação com áreas de negócio global.
• Definir escopo, plano de trabalho e cronograma do programa.
• Garantir entregas dentro do tempo, qualidade e orçamento (QCD).
• Alocar recursos necessários ao programa e monitorar progresso.
• Liderar a equipe do programa e manter fluxo de informação com stakeholders.

Program Manager.

The Yazaki Program Management organization is looking for a dynamic, organized and results-driven Program Manager who can effectively collaborate with different business areas on a global scale. This role involves managing and strengthening customer relationships, promoting cross-functional business integration, and coordinating projects efficiently to ensure objectives are achieved and business value is delivered.

Responsibilities

• Steers programs covering multiple related projects OR multi-regional projects:
• Establishes cross-regional and/or cross-carline program team
• Defines sub-projects, scope and objective of the program based on the requirements of sponsor and customer.
• Creates, develops and controls a detailed work plan and a schedule for program completion.
• Ensures that program's deliverables are reached in time, to the required quality standards and in the planned budget (QCD: Quality Cost Delivery)
• Determines, allocates and controls the resources (time, money, equipment, manpower etc.) required to complete the program.
• Judges correctly if escalation becomes necessary for potentially critical issue.

Coordinates Program Team

• Lead a programs and Project Management Team (PMT)-members (Co-Manager).
• Assigns challenging but achievable work packages to PMT members and sub-program managers and measures their performance against goals.
• Ensures quick, open and clear information flow between program team members and to the stakeholders of the program (develops and implements a communication plan).

Tracks and reports on program development

• Monitors and controls the status of the program objectives against plan.
• Identifies the critical path of the program schedule, conducts risk assessment and takes appropriate countermeasures where necessary.
• Ensures regular cross-functional team meetings in the projects to follow up on tasks and issues and ensures program team follows YAZAKI Project Management System (YPMS).
• Ensure that the team reports the status according to YPMS requirements.

Ensures program profitability over lifetime

• Identifies with his team potential financial issues or unprofitable aspects and proposes alternative solutions.
• Involves the key influencers and gets support from the management to increase profitability.

Customer and supplier communication

• Leads the customer communication.
• Supports the program team members in critical communication to the customers and suppliers.
• Supports new business-related activities and focuses on a long term customer satisfaction.

Candidate's Profile

• Bachelor's Studies in Engineering, Business Administration.
• Excellent customer skills with written and spoken English.
• Very good knowledge of Project Management principles and methods (GPM/IPMA or similar)
• Excellent communication, moderation and analytical skills
• Very good leadership skills
• Knowledge of Financials, negotiations experienced.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Project Manager.
