Job summary

Wire IT, a Portugal-based IT consulting partner, seeks a Program Manager to lead software development projects remotely across Portugal and Brazil. You will manage multiple teams, drive SDLC and agile practices, and oversee budgets and stakeholders to deliver complex eCommerce initiatives.

Ideal candidate has 4+ years of PM experience, strong leadership, excellent English, and a track record in large-scale re-platforming projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Development Project/Programme Management.
• Experience managing multiple teams and workstreams, including teams of 20+ people.
• Proven experience delivering eCommerce projects, ideally within a retail environment, including migration/re-platforming initiatives.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), and release management.
• Experience with stakeholder, vendor, and budget management.
• Good knowledge of cloud/on-prem infrastructure, Git, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Strong leadership, communication, risk management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate SDLC activities, agile ceremonies, and release management processes.
• Engage stakeholders and manage vendors and budgets to deliver on time.
• Mentor teams, communicate risks, and ensure quality across projects.
