Aptiv in Braga, Portugal is seeking a Production Control & Logistics Planner to translate demand into actionable production plans. You will balance capacity, workforce, and material flow to keep manufacturing running smoothly.

The role focuses on reducing changeover time, optimizing batches, and coordinating across processes while supporting planning tools and SAP-based systems. Ideal candidates hold a degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and have 1–3 years of relevant experience,

Qualificações

Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Logistics, IT, or a related field.
1–3 year experience in Production Control & Logistics.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
High sense of ownership, responsibility, and confidentiality.
Advanced knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; VBA is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Develop and maintain a levelled production plan balancing capacity, workforce, and materials flow.
Reduce changeover time and optimize production batches for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Coordinate the link between all the different production processes.
Monitor daily production performance and replan accordingly when deviations occur.
Engage closely with production teams to identify and implement continuous improvements in material and labor usage.
Support and develop planning tools and applications to enhance scheduling capabilities.
