Aptiv is seeking a Production Planner to translate demand into action within our manufacturing operation in Portugal. You will develop levelled production plans, balance capacity with material flow, and collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and reduce changeover times.

You will also support planning tools and maintain close alignment with Logistics leadership. The ideal candidate has a degree in a related field, 1–3 years in Production Control & Logistics, and fluent English,

Qualificações

A Degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Logistics, IT, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in Production Control & Logistics.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.

Responsabilidades

Develop and maintain a levelled production plan balancing machinery capacity, workforce availability, and material flow.
Reduce changeover time and optimize production batches for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Coordinate the link between all the different production processes.
Monitor daily production performance and replan accordingly when deviations occur.
Engage closely with production teams to identify and implement continuous improvements in material and labor usage.
Support and develop planning tools and applications to enhance scheduling capabilities.
