Oliver Wyman in Lisbon seeks an ML Engineer – Generative AI & Unstructured Data to design, deploy, and monitor AI systems transforming unstructured data into scalable services. You will work with Data Scientists and Engineers in a hybrid role.

The role combines ML engineering, MLOps, and GenAI; you will build pipelines, APIs, deployment, and retrieval systems, with 60% office time in Lisbon and growth toward broader ownership.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in ML engineering, applied AI or related roles focused on production systems.
• Hands-on with unstructured data, NLP pipelines, embeddings, or semantic search.
• Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience building scalable ML workflows.
• Experience deploying production APIs for ML models (FastAPI or similar).
• Familiar with MLOps including CI/CD, Docker, and Git workflows.

Responsabilidades

• Design scalable ML pipelines for unstructured data (docs, transcripts, images).
• Develop production-ready AI services and APIs for internal use.
• Productionize ML/GenAI solutions: packaging, deployment, versioning, lifecycle.
• Implement retrieval workflows, embeddings, semantic search, and LLM APIs.
• Monitor model performance, ensure reliability and SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with data scientists to move experiments to production.
• Contribute to CI/CD, retraining workflows, and infrastructure standardization.
• Translate business needs into scalable AI-enabled solutions.
• Document systems and decisions for team understanding.
