Capgemini Engineering in Portugal is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to develop, deploy and optimize Data Science and Generative AI solutions. You will design models, build data pipelines and implement MLOps practices across cloud environments.

This role emphasizes collaboration with data engineers, software engineers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI-driven outcomes. You should have hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, transformers, diffusion models and Retrieval-Augmented

Qualificações

• Degree in data science, computer science, AI or engineering.
• Experience in data science, ML, generative AI or AI engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Transformers).
• Experience with AWS AI/ML services such as SageMaker.

Responsabilidades

• Support the development, deployment and optimization of Data Science, ML and Generative AI solutions.
• Design, build and maintain AI/ML models for diverse business use cases.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and large-scale data processing workflows.
• Implement and support MLOps: deployment, CI/CD, monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and vector databases.
• Support tuning of LLMs, transformers and diffusion models.
• Collaborate with data/softwar e engineers and stakeholders to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Contribute to AI platform evolution, cloud optimization and model scaling.
