Testo SE & Co. KGaA in Portugal seeks a Product Reliability & Test Engineer to join a brand-new team in Albergaria-a-Velha. You will manage reliability and validation testing for hardware and embedded software to ensure top performance, robustness, and durability.

The role involves defining test criteria from requirements, planning environmental tests, and writing test specs. You will collaborate with Development, Purchasing and Production to raise quality standards from day one.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally product development in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience testing hardware and embedded software.
• Solid knowledge of reliability and testing methods and tools.
• Very good command of written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Define acceptance criteria from requirements and translate into test cases.
• Plan and execute environmental tests (heat, cold, vibration, humidity, corrosion).
• Write test specs, run tests at multiple development stages, ensure pass criteria.
• Monitor reliability through design changes and updates, push improvements.
• Collaborate daily with Development, Purchasing, and Production.
• Identify gaps and drive process improvements to catch issues early.
