Testo SE & Co. KGaA is opening an Embedded Software Developer position at our Albergaria-a-Velha site in Portugal. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Germany and China to build forward-looking measurement solutions and contribute to innovative software projects.

We seek a candidate with 2–5 years in embedded software, strong C/C++ skills, and experience with gdb, CMake, Open-OCD, Git, Zephyr, and Linux. English and Portuguese fluency is expected, with German as a plus.

Become part of our founding team of Embedded Software Developers (m/f/d) at this location and help build a strong foundation for future success.

Working closely with colleagues in Germany and China, you will contribute to innovative solutions and drive our products forward.

Your Profile

• Technical expertise: A degree in computer science, embedded systems, or a comparable field.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in software development, ideally with a focus on embedded systems.
• Skill set: Strong knowledge of C/C++; You have a sovereign command of gdb, CMake, Open-OCD, Git, Zephyr and Linux.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English and Portuguese; knowledge of German is a plus.
• Mindset: Solution-oriented, confident, and a true team player.
• Open-source spirit: Ideally, experienced contributor to FOSS projects (e.g., Linux, GitHub, GitLab).
