Job summary

KWAN is seeking a Product Owner to strategically shape AI platform capabilities, integrations, data services and AI-powered products. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, Architecture, AI teams and business stakeholders to convert strategy into roadmaps, priorities and deliverables.

You will harness your deep understanding of both technical and functional product aspects to shape AI research initiatives, ontology capabilities and AI-enabled customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Product Owner delivering AI/software products.
• Experience with Agile methods and prioritization frameworks.
• Understanding of APIs, microservices and data platforms.
• Knowledge of ontology management, taxonomy design and semantic tech.

Responsibilities

• Shape AI platform capabilities and roadmap from strategy to deliverables.
• Collaborate with PMs, Eng, AI teams and stakeholders to set priorities.
• Translate objectives into clear roadmaps and pragmatic milestones.
• Balance technical and business needs to meet customer goals.

Job description

We are looking for a Product Owner to join our team.

As a Product Owner you will strategically shape the development of AI platform capabilities, integrations, data services and AI-powered products. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Architecture, AI teams and business stakeholders to turn strategic objectives into clear roadmaps, priorities and deliverables.

You will have a deep understanding of both the technical and functional sides of the product: how it works, what makes it unique, and how it fits into our customers’ needs and the company’s overall strategy. You will focus on AI research initiatives, ontology capabilities and AI-enabled customer experiences.

What are we looking for?

• Experience as a Product Owner — 3+ years


• Agile methodologies and prioritization frameworks


• Knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, microservices and modern software architectures


• Experience with data platforms, metadata management and information retrieval systems


• Knowledge of ontology management, taxonomy design, knowledge representation and semantic technologies


• Experience with semantic search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases and knowledge discovery

Nice to have:

• Experience managing the transition of initiatives from research and experimentation into scalable product capabilities


• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI evaluation approaches and AI governance concepts


• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and other product management and collaboration tools


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
