Wire IT, a Portugal-based IT consulting partner, is seeking a Product Owner who speaks French to join our growing, international team in Porto or Lisbon (hybrid). You will translate business needs into clear product backlogs, collaborate with Agile teams, and ensure delivery of valuable features for payments/fintech contexts.

Position: Product Owner (French Speaker)

Location: Porto or Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid)

Required Skills

• Professional experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or in a similar role;
• Experience defining product vision, roadmaps, and priorities;
• Strong experience managing product backlogs, user stories, business rules, and acceptance criteria;
• Experience collecting and translating business needs into clear functional requirements;
• Experience working with Agile development teams;
• Ability to coordinate functional testing and validate delivered features;
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills;
• Ability to prioritize requirements, make decisions, and manage client expectations;
• Comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders;
• Fluent French and professional English.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in payments, banking, fintech, digital products, or regulated environments.
