Descripción de la vacante

Sybilion, based in Porto, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own discovery, adoption and evidence that our platform helps industrial buyers get the deal right. You’ll lead discovery with prospects and customers, translate learnings into a roadmap, and drive product priorities across engineering and data science.

You will work closely with the CEO and a small senior team across Europe, shaping how we scale while maintaining deep customer intimacy and fast value delivery.

Formación

  • 5+ years in product management at a B2B SaaS, data or AI company, including time owning a product area end to end.
  • A track record of customer-facing product work: you have led discovery programmes, run pilots, and sat with customers as they used what you built.
  • Shipped products where the hard part was getting people in enterprise organisations to act on the output: procurement, pricing, supply chain, planning, fintech or decision-support software.
  • Experience taking a product from early traction towards scale.
  • Curiosity about how industrial companies forecast and buy: feedstocks, energy exposure, contract structures (spot, fixed, quarterly), supplier relationships.
  • Enough technical fluency to hold your own on integrations, data pipelines and model outputs, and explain customer context so engineering and data science build the right thing.
  • Commercial fluency: you can talk price, terms, margin and working capital with buyers, and P&L with a CFO, and feed customer evidence into pricing, packaging and sales messaging.
  • Clear, simple communication with buyers, executives and engineers alike.
  • Fluent English and availability to work in a European time zone. Portuguese or German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Customer discovery, end to end.
  • Product priorities and delivery.
  • Adoption in live accounts.
  • Pilot to production.
  • What comes next.
  • The self-serve front door.
  • Proof of value.
  • Reusable decision patterns.

Senior Product Manager

Sybilion · Europe (Porto) · Full-time

Own the moment where external volatility turns into confident action.

"Be the person closest to our customers. Own discovery, adoption and the evidence that our platform helps industrial buyers get the deal right, as we take product-market fit to Series A."

About Sybilion

A procurement leader is ultimately judged on one question: did we buy well? The right price, on the right terms, from the right supplier, at the right time. The information to answer it exists, but it sits outside the ERP, the planning tools and the spreadsheets. It lives in commodity and energy markets, in supplier regions, in contracts nobody has re-read. So the call usually gets made late, on last month's report and gut feel.

Sybilion gives industrial buyers a credible view of what a material should cost and whether to act. Our platform is live and in daily use at European industrial manufacturers. Ask it a question in plain English and it builds the answer from three things: a should-cost forecast with a confidence range, the external events moving your inputs, and the terms in your own contracts. When a person commits, Sybilion keeps the record of what was decided and why.

Our core procurement playbooks are live with customers. We sell to European mid-market and enterprise industrials in chemicals, plastics, packaging and commodity-linked manufacturing. We are funded, small, senior, and accelerating towards our Series A.

Why this role, why now

We have spent this year defining what Sybilion is and shipping it. The product works, more prospects are using it, and the core is proven in real negotiations. The next stage is different. We need to show that the value can be repeated across early accounts, that customers come back to it every buying cycle, and that we can scale the platform without each customer becoming a bespoke project.

That needs a product manager who spends more time with prospects and customers than with the backlog. You will lead discovery, sit in on real buying decisions, and turn what you learn into product priorities and a roadmap the team can ship. You will be accountable for outcomes: whether we solve buying problems shared across our target customers, whether customers act on what Sybilion shows them, and whether we can prove the value.

How you will work

  • Customer discovery, end to end. Run a continuous discovery programme with live customers and ICP-fit prospects. Build the interview guides, keep the evidence base, and make sure product priorities are grounded in what buyers actually need and do.

  • Product priorities and delivery. Own which customer problems we solve next, define success, and make scope and sequencing trade-offs with engineering and data science. Turn discovery into a roadmap the team can ship.

  • Adoption in live accounts. Work alongside engineering and sales to support customers from onboarding to their first committed decision and beyond. Find where usage stalls, fix the product reasons, and get customers using Sybilion every buying cycle.

  • Pilot to production. Partner with sales on our enterprise sales motion, scoping pilots so they target a real buying decision, show a clear result in weeks, and convert to a paid contract.

  • What comes next. Lead discovery on the next problems customers bring us, starting with choosing the right supplier: price, reliability and exposure to events in their region or feedstock. Test before we build: prototype, learn, then commit.

  • The self-serve front door. Shape how prospects get to value without a sales call, starting from our onboarding that drafts a company's supply chain from its website. Refine our product-led entry point, measure activation, and improve the handover to a sales conversation.

  • Proof of value. Track what customers decided, why, and what happened next. Agree meaningful benchmarks with customers and use them to demonstrate savings, better timing and stronger negotiation outcomes. Turn that evidence into proof of ROI that customers, our sales team and investors can use, and feed it into renewals, pricing and potential outcome-based offers.

  • Reusable decision patterns. Codify recurring decision types—procurement timing, hedging and allocation—so we scale without becoming a pile of bespoke, consulting-led one-offs.

You’re probably a fit if you have

Prior experience in forecasting, chemicals, plastics, packaging, commodities or procurement is a strong advantage. Experience in customer enablement or consulting is also valuable.

How we work

We are a small, senior team based in Porto, with some colleagues across Europe and founders who are close to every customer. We work with high trust and high ownership, and we would rather ship two things that hold up in a negotiation than twenty that don’t. You will report to the CEO and have real influence over what the platform becomes as we scale.

You own your outcomes. When a call is low-risk and high-impact, you make it, and when it is wrong, you recover fast. You blend usage data with sharp qualitative discovery, know which calls need research and which need a good-enough answer today, and resolve routine product questions so the team can keep moving. We build a product about committing to decisions; you should model it.

If you want to help industrial buyers get the deal right, and to be the person who proves that we do, we would like to hear from you.
