Job summary

Sofico is seeking a Business Analyst for Product Delivery in Porto, Portugal. You bridge business needs with development, translating processes into clear requirements and user stories, using AI tools to enhance analysis.

You’ll collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to shape Miles' evolution. Ideal candidates have BA experience in software delivery, familiarity with Agile/Scrum, and comfort with tools like Draw.io, Figma, Jira and Confluence.

Qualifications

Experience as a Business Analyst in a software product or delivery environment.
Experience in automotive finance, leasing, fleet management or mobility is a strong plus.
Knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements in leasing and financial services.
Skills in business process modelling, requirements elicitation and documentation, using tools like Draw.io, Figma or Visio.
Comfort working in Agile/Scrum teams with tools like Jira and Confluence.
Hands-on experience using AI tools in your daily work, or a real wish to build that experience. Experience with spec-driven development or writing specifications for AI agents is a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally to our other international offices.

Responsibilities

Translate business processes into structured requirements, epics and user stories, with acceptance criteria clear enough for both developers and AI agents to work from.
Use AI tools throughout your analysis: exploring the domain, modelling processes, drafting stories and specifications, and reviewing what the AI produces before it reaches the team.
Spot gaps in the current Miles offering and propose solutions that fit the market and can realistically be built.
Help Product Owners prioritise, based on a solid understanding of customer needs, the market and product strategy.
Take an active part in Scrum ceremonies such as refinement, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
Keep stakeholders informed and aligned on what's coming next.
Share what works when using AI for analysis, so your team and the wider Product organisation can learn from it.
