Solvay is seeking a Procurement Trainee for the Lisbon, Portugal location to support the Procurement Service Connection and drive standard service adoption. The role focuses on promoting best practices, ensuring compliance, and enabling self-service via standard solutions.

The 12-month internship is full-time with a hybrid model, requiring two days per week at the Carnaxide office. The ideal candidate has familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus.

About the role

Our Procurement Service Connection Support team, integrated in the GBS Procurement Service Line, focuses on promoting the standard services and pushing for more compliance for any stakeholder in our processes.

As a Procurement Trainee, you will build on your service / process knowledge and connectivity to the users and different teams.

You will be accountable for:

Supporting the local organizations to utilize the Procurement services at its best, sharing best practices and identify areas of improvement which could generate process competitive advantages for the entire scope

Promoting and reminding standard services and how to access them to avoid any recurring non-compliance

Easing and promoting self-service approach using standard solutions

We offer a 12-month internship (full-time) based on a hybrid working mode (2x a week at the office in Carnaxide).

About you

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)

SAP knowledge is a plus

About the pay

Equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. The base pay expected for this role is € 940 - € 1,040 per month in Portugal
