• Understand procurement needs of General Managers, Finance Managers and Business Unit Heads.
• Ensure all procurement and purchasing activities follow Ferring SOPs.
• Propose new ways of working to the countries you will be working with.
• Coordinate activities with central procurement and local sites.

Ferring+You

You will be accountable for all indirect categories for different markets. You will join a well-established procurement function, supported and reporting into the Head of Procurement, who reports to the Chief Procurement Officer, a permanent member of the global Procurement Leadership Team. You will have peers on various sites across the globe, with whom you will have the opportunity to network, share best practices and continuously improve. This role will have some need of travelling.

Your day at Ferring

• Understand General Managers, Finance Managers and Business Unit Heads’ procurement needs (new projects, cost optimization requirements to meet their financial objectives, etc.).
• Ensure all aspects of procurement (local policies and strategies, supplier relationship and risk management, contract management, negotiations, etc.) and purchasing (purchase to pay efficiency) are handled according to Ferring standard operating procedures.
• Propose new ways of working to the countries you will be working with.
• Recommend activities to central procurement/ local sites.

• University degree and/or a master’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in procuring a variety of indirect categories.
• Experience in international/multinational environment.
• Proficiency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is a nice to have.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
