Job summary

CALB Group Co., Ltd. in Lisbon is seeking a Procurement professional for Battery Raw Materials to secure critical inputs and support Europe’s growing energy storage ecosystem.

You will develop supplier networks, identify strategic partners, lead commercial negotiations, and collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and R&D teams to ensure on-time material availability for production and future technologies.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement or sourcing experience in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Willing to work 100% on-site in Lisbon, Portugal.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and manage relationships with suppliers of battery raw materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic suppliers.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support contract management activities.
• Monitor market trends, supply risks, and pricing developments.
• Develop sourcing strategies to improve supply security and cost competitiveness.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and R&D teams.

What We’re Looking For

Highly Valued Experience

• Experience within the lithium battery, energy storage, EV, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of battery raw materials such as cathodes, anodes, electrolytes, separators, and related materials.
• Background in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiations.
• Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturing supply chains.
