Bosch in Lisbon seeks a Process Improvement Specialist to analyze and optimize the EU Import Mailbox workflows. You will map current processes, identify bottlenecks, and drive automation initiatives with cross-functional teams to reduce manual handling and improve efficiency.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in CIP methodologies, and ability to document changes while ensuring smooth handovers to the operations team. Hybrid work conditions are offered.

Qualificações

  • Education requirement as stated: a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in process analysis, improvement, or CIP initiatives.
  • Knowledge of cross-functional stakeholder collaboration and end-to-end process thinking.

Responsabilidades

  • Analyze and map the current tariffing process and related activities within the EU Import Mailbox.
  • Identify stakeholders, process interfaces, manual activities, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities across the end-to-end workflow.
  • Support and manage operational bottlenecks in the current mailbox handling process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, clarify roles and responsibilities, and eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Implement process improvements and redesign workflows to create leaner, more efficient ways of working.
  • Drive initiatives towards process automation, with the long-term objective of minimizing or eliminating manual mailbox handling.
  • Document and communicate new processes, acting as the first point of contact for stakeholder questions and feedback.
  • Monitor process stabilization, incorporate improvement feedback where needed, and ensure a successful handover to the operational team.

Job Description

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Experience in process analysis, process improvement, or Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in an operational environment.
  • Experience in Foreign Trade, Customs, or related areas such as Logistics, Purchasing, or Sales is an advantage.

Know-how

  • Process mapping and workflow analysis.
  • Continuous Improvement (CIP) methodologies.
  • Process optimization and automation mindset.
  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Languages

  • English – Full professional proficiency (written and spoken).
  • German – Nice to have.
  • Portuguese – Nice to have.
