Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of Private Banking clients, ensuring regular follow-up and identifying opportunities to strengthen and diversify investments.
• Monitor financial markets and work with Asset Management to identify suitable investment solutions.
• Support prospecting and acquisition of new clients, prepare meetings and identify opportunities.
• Assist in execution and follow-up of clients’ investment and financial transactions, maintaining proper documentation.
• Build trusted, long-term client relationships through a personalised, responsive and high-quality service.
• Ensure client documentation is collected and maintained per regulation and internal procedures.

Private Banking is not only about financial products. It is about understanding each client’s needs, ambitions and risk profile, building long-term relationships and providing tailored investment solutions.

We are looking for a Private Banker to join our team in Lisbon and contribute to the acquisition, management and advisory of Private Banking clients, supporting them in making informed financial decisions and ensuring a high-quality service throughout their relationship with the Bank.

You will bring commercial drive, financial market knowledge and strong interpersonal skills, working closely with experienced professionals to identify opportunities, develop client relationships and deliver solutions aligned with each client’s objectives.

Your impact

You will be involved in Private Banking activities, contributing to:

• Managing and developing a portfolio of Private Banking clients, ensuring regular follow-up and identifying opportunities to strengthen and diversify their investments;
• Monitoring financial markets and working closely with Asset Management to identify investment solutions aligned with each client’s objectives and risk profile;
• Supporting the prospecting and acquisition of new clients, preparing meetings and identifying suitable investment opportunities;
• Supporting the execution and follow-up of clients’ investment and financial transactions, ensuring appropriate registration and confirmation;
• Building trusted and long-term client relationships through a personalised, responsive and high-quality service;
• Ensuring the collection and maintenance of client documentation in accordance with applicable regulation and the Bank’s internal procedures;
• Contributing to commercial activity reports and other relevant Private Banking materials;
• Collaborating with different areas of the Bank to ensure an efficient and integrated response to clients’ needs;
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Private Banking activity.

Perfil

• Master’s degree in Economics, Management or a related field;
• Up to 2 years of professional experience, preferably in commercial roles within the Banking sector;
• Good knowledge of financial markets and investment banking products;
• Knowledge of Private Banking prospecting and client relationship techniques is valued;
• Knowledge of financial sector regulation, including AML, Operational Risk and Compliance;
• Good understanding of financial calculations, including interest rates and spreads;
• Fluency in English;
• Knowledge of Spanish is valued;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships;
• Commercial mindset and results-oriented approach;
