NielsenIQ in Portugal seeks a Senior Analytics & Activation Consultant to help clients grow by turning Nielsen data into actionable insights. You will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze trends, build econometric models, and present findings to senior stakeholders.

The role requires experience in revenue growth management, statistics, and marketing analytics, with strong visualization and project management. A BA/BS and 3+ years in FMCG research are preferred.

Qualificações

  • 3+ years in research roles focusing on marketing analytics.
  • Understanding of Revenue Growth Management.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods.

Responsabilidades

  • Understand client priorities and support brand planning and range reviews.
  • Lead trainings and coach Junior consultants.
  • Create thought leadership for internal and external audiences.
  • Be SME in Revenue Growth Management (RGM).
  • Work with sales to shape briefs and upsell where possible.
  • Maintain client ownership and build strong relationships.
  • Coordinate cross-country/category projects.
  • Analyze client engagement to drive deep integration and satisfaction.
  • Translate analytical results into actionable client reports.
  • Present results in a consultative SCQA style.

Help your clients grow their business by partnering with them to draw compelling insights from Nielsen data. The Senior Consultant will be curious, self-motivated and have a creative touch.

Leverage statistical analysis to understand past trends and predict the future effect of marketing tactics on sales. You will create concise and compelling presentations about brand, market, industry and category trends in response to your client’s business needs. You will work with a cross functional range of stakeholders to help our clients make smarter decisions when investing their marketing budget and ensure that the client is achieving maximum benefit from their Nielsen investment.

The Senior Analytics & Activation Consultant will partner with modelling teams to develop econometric models that incorporate numerous factors impacting sales performance (pricing, promotions and competitive activities, range) to help isolate what's really driving consumers' purchase decisions and identify the most effective strategies to achieve client’s profitability objectives.

Presenting often to senior client stakeholders, this role provides a platform to influence client strategy at the highest levels and demands strong commercial and analytical capability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Have a strong working knowledge of the client business priorities and the role we can play in supporting these goals (eg. participating in business cycles such as brand planning & range reviews etc.)
  • Lead trainings and couch Junior consultants
  • Create some thought leadership to be shared both internally and externally with a view to addressing client business issues and promoting new thinking
  • Subject matter expert in RGM
  • Work with sales to shape briefs and upsell where possible
  • Client ownership of assigned accounts, strengthening relationships through a deep understanding of client’s issues and providing value-add expertise in pricing & Strategic Revenue Management
  • Coordinate cross-country / category projects
  • Champion of our P&P solutions - articulate with PL, modelling, and Customer Success
  • Analysis of client engagement to drive deep integration & satisfaction
  • To convert analytical results into a business-focused and actionable client report
  • Present results in a compelling, consultative way applying an SCQA approach
REQUIREMENTS
  • An understanding of Revenue Growth Management
  • Strong analysis, insight generation and visualization skills, focusing on statistics, economics, and marketing research as an advantage
  • Analysis of model outputs to deliver consultative recommendations
  • Knowledge of statistical methods
  • Excellent project management
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time
  • Problem solving and solutions orientated
  • Perform work accurately and effectively with attention to detail
  • Engaging presenter
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good at building relationships, internally and with clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • An understanding of the FMCG industry and trends and implications for our clients and their brands
  • Advising Commercial Team on development of proposals and project design based on client need
  • Capable of leveraging tools such as Microsoft excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to articulate technical information in a simple, impactful way
  • Ability to operate and influence across various levels and stakeholders in the organization
  • BA/BS required or equivalent business experience
  • 3+ years research related roles with focus on marketing analytics
  • Previous experience in the FMCG sector, preferably within brand, category management, trade marketing, consumer insights or revenue management
