NIQ is offering an internship through the Early Career Program in Retail Analytics. The program runs 6 to 12 months and includes training in internal methodologies and tools.

You will support RV consultants with data pulls, desk research, and client requests, delivering market analyses and regular reports alongside NielsenIQ teams. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required, with a university degree in business or a related field, and the internship offers a pathway to future opportunities

The Retailer Vertical department is at the heart of the company key challenges as associates have daily relationships with the retailers, the main base for NielsenIQ data. The RV department in Portugal is looking for talented and passionate people to join the team and support its activities through the internship program.

In this context your main missions will be:

• Support the RV consultants in their activities of data pullings, desk research, answers to clients’ requests and preparation of market analysis;
• Be responsible for refreshing and delivering regular reports to clients together with other NielsenIQ teams;
• Support data production and reports based on in-store price collections;
• Search and prepare content related to the retail universe and the market context to share with the RV team in a regular basis.

At the beginning of your internship, you’ll receive initial training on internal methodologies and tools in order to be prepared to execute your activities. There will also be ongoing training with which you will have the opportunity to acquire new skills as you develop your role.

At the end of the internship, you will have acquired a set of knowledge that will allow you to assume a future position in this market - inside or outside NielsenIQ.

Profile:

• University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistic, Economics or related area;
• Good analytical thinking and strong communication/presentation skills;
• Comfortable working with lots of data and different sources of information, besides interpret them and have attention to details;
• Curious oriented-mind and creative to do more with less and able to think outside the box;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English languages
