Colt Technology Services Group Ltd. is looking for a premium network services platinum lead engineer to own end-to-end fault resolution for Packet & SDN products across Europe.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and coordinate with vendors, field engineers and internal teams to meet SLAs and drive rapid resolutions. The role requires deep IP knowledge (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS), experience with MPLS/IP VPN and SDN technologies, plus strong communication in English and Spanish.

Qualificações

• Strong IP fundamentals and routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, ISIS).
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting MPLS/IP VPN across Europe.
• Familiar with SDN/SD-WAN technologies and IP/Ethernet/Optical services.
• Unix-based tools: Telnet, FTP, TFTP, Traceroute for troubleshooting.
• Experience with network management tools such as Netcool, SMARTS, CiscoWorks.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve faults across a pan-European MPLS/IP services network.
• Act as single point of contact for customers with clear updates.
• Collaborate with vendors, field engineers, and 3rd-level support to manage escalations.
• Maintain incident records and generate technical reports as required.
• Identify solutions to recurring issues in Packet & SDN networks and assist with upgrades.

What you will do

• Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve faultsacross a pan-EuropeanMPLS infrastructureand a range ofIP services, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Act as thesingle point of contactfor customers, providing clear updates and professional support.
• Work closely withvendors, field engineers, and 3rd-level support teamsto manage escalations and complex issues.
• Maintain accurate incident recordsand generate technical reports when required.
• Identify and implement solutions to recurring problems inPacket & SDN networks.
• Supportsoftware upgradesin collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Participate in a24/7 shift patternto ensure round-the-clock support for our customers.

What we're looking for

We’re seeking ahighly skilled and proactive Network Engineerwith expertise inLayer 1, 2, and 3 services and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer support.

• Understanding ofIP Fundamentalsand variousProtocols, includingBGP,EIGRP,OSPF,ISIS.
• Working experience withimplementing,diagnosingandtroubleshooting IP Access,MPLSandVPNsolutions across a pan European network.
• Understanding and working experience with SDN - SD-WAN technologies.
• Understanding the provisioning and maintaining ofIP,EthernetandOpticalservices acrossBackbone Networks.
• Experience ofUNIXbased applications and trouble-shooting tools such asTelnet,FTP,TFTP,Traceroute.
• Experience of one or more of the followingNetwork Managementand Support systems:Netcool,SMARTS,CiscoWorks,InfoVista,TACACS, Vendor Specific Element Managers.
• Industry Experience– Prior experience working withglobal network providers, NOCs, and field support teamsto resolve technical issues.
• Troubleshooting & Ownership– A team player who thrives in afast-paced environment, takes fullownership of issues, and collaborates effectively withinternal and external teamsto drive resolution.
• Strong Communication– Ability to provide clear, professional, and service-oriented communication, bothwritten and verbal.
• Technical Certifications– Formal IT qualifications such asCCNP, CCSP, CCNA, or similar are highly desirable.
• Language Skills – Fluent English & Spanish (mandatory). Fluent German would be an advantage.
