Claranet Portugal in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our internal team. You will manage complex network incidents, provide L3 support, and optimize LAN, WAN, WLAN and data center networks while guiding projects and migrations.

You will work with vendors, design architectures, maintain documentation, and mentor junior engineers, ensuring security and reliability across services in a dynamic managed services environment.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in Network Operations, Administration and Support.
• Strong LAN, WAN, WLAN and Data Center networking expertise.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience providing Level 3 (L3) network support.
• Strong knowledge of Routing and Switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, STP, QoS, VRF).
• Experience with network security technologies, including Firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience leading complex incident resolution and RCA.
• Experience planning and implementing complex network changes.
• Experience working with vendors and technology manufacturers.
• Experience producing technical documentation and network designs.
• Knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
• Customer-facing experience in Managed Services environments.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure and operational automation solutions.
• Define technical standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Manage technical relationships with vendors and technology manufacturers.
• Produce and maintain high-level technical documentation.
• Participate in governance meetings and technical customer engagements.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the technical quality, stability, and reliability of network services.
• Support Service Delivery teams in service management and technology evolution.
