Sidel is seeking a Pre-Assembly Operator at our Santa Maria da Feira site in Portugal. You will support the mechanical pre-assembly of conveyor systems, interpreting drawings and assembling components with precision.

You will work with manufacturing colleagues to ensure on-time delivery, high quality, and adherence to safety standards. Experience in industrial assembly and tools usage is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mechanical pre-assembly activities including bending materials, cutting, drilling, and fitting components per technical requirements.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and documentation to ensure accurate assembly.
• Assemble and adjust gears, shafts, bearings and related components to meet quality standards.
• Safely operate manual and power tools following safety standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing to support on-time delivery and continuous improvement.

Your Mission

• Perform mechanical pre-assembly activities including bending materials, cutting, drilling, and fitting components according to technical requirements.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documentation to ensure accurate and reliable assembly.
• Assemble and adjust mechanical components such as gears, chains, bearings, and shafts while maintaining high quality standards.
• Safely operate manual and power tools while following company safety standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and production colleagues to support on-time delivery, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Your Profile

• Proven experience in the assembly or maintenance of mechanical systems within an industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and mechanical documentation with precision and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of mechanical components and assembly techniques related to industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, MIG/TIG welding, or SAP user activities is considered a plus.
• A responsible and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently while contributing positively to team objectives.
• Commitment to quality workmanship, safe working practices, and continuous learning.
