The University of Porto (FEUP) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship under the RAICC project in Machine Learning. The initial duration is 12 months, starting October 2026, with possible renewals up to the project end. The fellowship is hosted at FEUP or Fraunhofer AICOS under the supervision of Prof.

Carlos M. Milheiro de Oliveira Pinto Soares. The monthly stipend ranges from €1901.00 to €2336.00 depending on profile and experience, with payment by bank transfer.

Qualificações

• PhD in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Strong research track record and publications in relevant areas.
• Proficiency in English for scholarly communication.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and validate a synthetic data generation algorithm for forecasting models.
• Conduct literature review and design two methodological approaches.
• Empirically evaluate proposed approaches and publish two research papers.
