University of Porto (FEUP) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship under the RAICC project. The successful fellow will develop synthetic data generation methods to study forecasting behavior in time series and tabular data, under the supervision of Prof.

Milheiro de Oliveira Pinto Soares. The fellowship lasts 12 months from October 2026, with a possibility of renewal but not beyond project end.

Qualificações

• PhD in Computer Science or related field required.
• Experience with R&D projects is desirable.
• Excellent scientific writing and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and validate a synthetic data generation algorithm for forecasting.
• Design two approaches for the problem and perform empirical evaluation.
• Write two research papers and contribute to dissemination of results.
