The University of Porto, FEUP, invites applications for a 12‑month Postdoctoral Research Fellowship within the RAICC project, focused on responsible AI. The fellowship will be conducted at FEUP's Department of Informatics Engineering or Fraunhofer AICOS under Prof.

Soares' supervision. The work involves developing and validating a synthetic data generation algorithm to understand forecasting models in time series and tabular data.

Qualificações

• PhD in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Candidates with PhD in related fields are eligible.
• R&D project participation in relevant fields is valued.
• Publications and supervision of research are considered beneficial.
• Motivation letter and English proficiency are assessed.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and validate a synthetic data generation algorithm for forecasting in time series and tabular data.
• Conduct literature review and design two approaches for the problem.
• Empirically evaluate proposed approaches.
• Prepare two research papers describing results.
