Buttimer Engineering in Portugal is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our project delivery team. You will manage the financial and contractual aspects of a large Mechanical project as Subcontractor to a Main Contractor, coordinating with the Main Contractor and our Subcontractors.

The role focuses on delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards, including cost control, valuations, variations, procurement, and final accounts across the

Qualificações

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar.
• 5+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role or similar.
• Strong knowledge of contract frameworks (e.g. NEC, FIDIC or equivalent).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, Project cost management tools.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and commercial awareness skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Cost control & budget management across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and administer contract documentation and payment applications.
• Prepare project cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Monitor labour and procurement costs, and manage subcontractor payments.
• Identify commercial risks early and report to PM & OM with recommended actions.
• Valuations, variations, and change control including final accounts and close-out.
