Job summary

CTS Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor at junior to senior levels in Porto, Portugal. The role focuses on accurate measurement, BIM-based quantification, and integration with project teams to ensure reliable quantities for execution. Strong CAD/BIM skills and data-driven reporting are essential.

Travel to project locations is required as needed; a background in engineering with quantity surveying exposure is preferred, along with intermediate English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering with quantity surveying exposure.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction measurement.
• Experience in critical infrastructure and high-tech projects is valued.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and digital models for quantity measurement.
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings and project documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Medium English proficiency for written and spoken communication.
• Willingness to travel according to project needs.

Responsibilities

• Quantity Take-Off & Measurement from design documentation for accurate quantities.
• Use BIM models and extraction tools to validate quantities.
• Review drawings to identify discrepancies affecting quantities.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, contractors and suppliers.
• Utilize BIM, CAD and other tools to support measurement and analysis.
• Organize and present quantity data for planning and procurement.
• Maintain accurate quantity records aligned with project documentation.
• Apply checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of outputs.
• Contribute to digital quantity surveying workflow improvements.
