Job summary

Euronext is seeking an Engineering Manager for the IT Securities team in Porto. Report to the Head of Development and balance hands-on leadership with team coaching to deliver across multiple European locations.

You will manage a software development team, provide technical direction, and handle production incidents, upgrades, and lifecycle management, while driving best practices and continuous learning in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately seven to ten years of professional software development experience.
• Around three to five years of management experience leading software teams.
• Strong technical background with understanding of complex architectures.
• Hands-on engineering leader who engages directly with the team.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach and coordinate a software development team across Europe.
• Provide strong technical leadership and support for complex engineering challenges.
• Evaluate performance and identify development opportunities for team members.
• Promote engineering best practices and continuous learning.
• Coordinate capacity planning and allocation for strategic projects.
• Act as L3 application support for the existing application landscape and manage incidents.
