QUANTEAM (RAINBOW PARTNERS Group) is seeking a PnL Analyst for a hybrid role in Lisbon. You will produce and validate P&L figures, investigate discrepancies, and review P&L explains to ensure accuracy. The position offers growth through Quanteam Academy and Elevate programs with ongoing expert support.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Economics, Finance, or related field, 0–3 years of experience, and solid knowledge of financial markets. English fluency (B2+) is required.

Qualificações

• 0–3 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and financial instruments.
• Internship or academic exposure to Financial Markets is a plus.
• English fluency written and spoken (B2+).

Responsabilidades

• Produce and validate official Economic P&L figures and explanations.
• Investigate discrepancies between Economic P&L and Front Office predictions.
• Review P&L Explain and correct misallocations when fixes are unavailable.
• Analyze differences between Risk-based Market P&L and P&L Explain.
• Review and monitor the split of Economic P&L into liquidity and rate effects for ALMT perimeters.
• Produce and maintain hedge accounting controls where applicable.
• Submit finalized P&L figures for Front Office sign-off.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes.

We are looking for a PnL Analyst.

• Produce and validate official Economic P&L figures and related P&L explanations (market moves, new deals, etc.).
• Investigate discrepancies between Economic P&L and Front Office predictions.
• Perform in-depth review of P&L Explain and correct misallocations when technical fixes are unavailable.
• Analyze differences between Risk-based Market P&L and P&L Explain until gaps are fully understood and documented.
• Review and monitor the split of Economic P&L into liquidity and rate effects for ALMT perimeters.
• Produce and maintain hedge accounting controls for Finance and Front Office where applicable.
• Submit finalized P&L figures for Front Office sign-off.
• Identify opportunities to challenge, improve, and enhance existing processes.
• Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 0 – 3 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and financial instruments.
• Internship or academic exposure to Financial Markets is a plus.
• Experience with Python, VBA, or similar programming/automation tools.
• Fluency in English - written and spoken (B2+).
• This role offers a gross annual salary between 18.000€ to 23.000€, defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.
