Job summary

Vodafone is seeking a skilled professional to support the Qualys vulnerability scanning platform, providing near real-time insight into the Vodafone estate. The role centers on delivery, collaborating with the Solution Manager and DevOps to explore new solutions and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree educated (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
• Familiar with Agile delivery using Scrum or Kanban.
• 5+ years experience of vulnerability management.
• 3+ years experience of software systems and development.
• Experience communicating technical information to all stakeholder levels.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Qualys features and facilitate adoption by local markets and entities.
• Produce High-level and Low-level Designs for implementation.
• Develop and implement code and configuration changes.
• Ensure the completion of SbD requirements.
• Coordinate with colleagues to deliver all communications matrix requirements.

The purpose of the role is to support the exploitation of the functionality of the Qualys vulnerability scanning platform to provide near realtime insight into the status of the Vodafone estate The role is delivery focused and will work with the Qualys Solution Manager and the Dev Ops team to identify options for the development of new solutions and to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires innovation to deliver and will require a clear focus on delivery. Knowledge of vulnerability scanning, the Qualys platform are essential, experience of Wiz for Cloud scanning would be a desirable additional skill. This requires strong communication skills and an absolute attention to detail.

This role will be required to operate effectively in a complex, dynamic, and constantly changing environment. Active & compelling engagement of teams and stakeholders will be crucial in creating the momentum required.
