iTRTech Group in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Platform Expert / SDLC to drive AI-assisted practices across the software development lifecycle. The role blends organizational change, stakeholder engagement, and technical insight to help teams integrate AI into daily work and measure impact.

The position requires 15+ years of experience, fluency in Portuguese and English, and a hybrid work model in Lisbon with a gross monthly rate of €3200–€3500.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Platform Expert / SDLC to support the adoption of AI-assisted practices across the software development lifecycle. The role combines organizational change, stakeholder engagement, and technical understanding to help teams integrate AI into their daily work and measure its impact.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to apply AI in software engineering and implement AI-supported working practices throughout the SDLC.


• Lead change management, communication, training, coaching, and adoption initiatives.


• Facilitate workshops and align Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, and Testing teams.


• Support pilots, gather feedback, and encourage adoption through reusable guides, templates, and enablement materials.


• Monitor adoption, productivity, quality, and developer experience metrics.


• Track AI developments and translate relevant trends into business opportunities.

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.


• Experience in change management, organizational transformation, or technology adoption, preferably within IT, engineering, or software environments.


• Knowledge of the SDLC, including requirements, design, testing, security, and releases.


• Understanding of AI-assisted development and AI agents, including their applications, limitations, and impact on teams.


• Experience facilitating workshops and delivering adoption, training, communication, and change support initiatives.


• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and engage technical teams and management in matrix environments.


• Fluent Portuguese and English, with a results-oriented approach using metrics and feedback to assess impact.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agile, DevOps, software engineering transformation, or developer experience.


• Experience building communities of practice, training programs, or champion networks.


• Knowledge of software security, quality, and governance practices.
