Job summary

A2IT Technology seeks a Platform Expert to drive AI-powered adoption across the Software Development Life Cycle in a hybrid Lisbon setting. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security and Testing to embed AI practices, improve developer productivity and elevate the overall experience.

You will lead workshops, train teams, measure adoption impact and translate AI trends into practical opportunities for the organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in change management or technology adoption in IT/software contexts.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC including requirements, design, testing, security and releases.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development and AI agents and their impact on teams.
• Experience driving adoption initiatives, training, and stakeholder communication.
• Strong workshop facilitation and ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to measure impact using metrics and feedback; fluent in Portuguese and English.

Are you passionate about AI, software engineering and driving organisational change?

We’re looking for a Platform Expert to support the adoption of AI-powered practices across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), helping engineering teams integrate AI tools and agents into their daily workflows.

You’ll work closely with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security and Testing teams to drive adoption, improve productivity and enhance the developer experience.

What you’ll do

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI across software engineering processes.
• Define and implement AI-assisted practices throughout the SDLC.
• Lead change management initiatives, including communication, training, coaching and adoption.
• Facilitate workshops and align technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Support pilots, gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop reusable guidelines, templates and enablement materials.
• Track adoption, productivity, software quality and developer experience metrics.
• Monitor AI developments and translate emerging trends into business opportunities.

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in change management, organisational transformation or technology adoption, preferably in IT or software engineering environments.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, testing, security and releases.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development and AI agents, including their applications, limitations and impact on engineering teams.
• Experience driving adoption initiatives, training, communication and change enablement.
• Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Results-oriented mindset, with experience using metrics and feedback to measure impact.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Nice to have

• Experience in Agile, DevOps, software engineering transformation or developer experience.
• Experience building communities of practice, training programmes or internal champion networks.
• Knowledge of software development security, quality and governance practices.
• Experience delivering change initiatives in large or international organisations.

Experience: Up to 15 years in the relevant role for the contracted service.
