Hiscox Re is seeking a Platform Engineer to support reliable, secure, and automated software delivery pipelines and hybrid cloud infrastructure. You will work across Azure and GCP, enabling automated deployments and reusable templates within a cross-functional team.

Key focus areas include DevOps, SRE, IaC, and secure delivery practices with exposure to on-premise environments. You will collaborate with engineers to advance platform engineering maturity and share knowledge across squads.

Qualificações

• Strong grounding in platform engineering concepts including infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and secure delivery practices.
• Experience with cloud-native services and containerized systems across Azure, GCP or hybrid environments.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Puppet).
• DevOps/SRE experience with infrastructure or operational support responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep or YAML.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, GCP or hybrid cloud environments.
• Security mindset with awareness of secure engineering practices and testing approaches (SAST/DAST).
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (New Relic, ELK) and cost visibility.

Responsabilidades

• Automate, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Contribute to IaC automation for cloud and on-premise infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Promote DevOps principles within squads and drive automation improvements.
