We are seeking a driven and experienced Plants Procurement Lead, Europe & Africa, within Group NonFish & Indirect Procurement to strengthen Thai Union’s procurement excellence across our European manufacturing sites. This is a newly created role with high visibility and impact, designed to integrate, standardize, and elevate procurement practices across our plants — including Poland, Portugal, Germany, France, Ghana, Seychelles, and Lithuania. If you are motivated by change, operational improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, this is your opportunity to make a tangible difference across our European network.

The role reports to the Head of Non Fish Procurement, Europe & Africa. The role can be based in either Gniewino, Poland or Peniche, Portugal.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee both direct and indirect reporting lines, managing and supporting local Heads of Procurement and their teams across the plants
  • Implement and enforce procurement policies and compliance procedures across sites, ensuring adherence to global standards
  • Drive standardization of procurement processes and tools across plants to reduce complexity and enhance efficiency
  • Identify and deliver cost savings opportunities through supplier consolidation, spend bundling, and S2P process optimization
  • Support indirect procurement development — implement processes, stakeholder engagement, and supplier management frameworks
  • Support supplier performance in the plants to drive supply chain and cost efficiencies
  • Coordinate CAPEX procurement activities, ensuring compliance and cost control
  • Foster collaboration between plant teams and central/global procurement functions to align goals and share best practices
Why Choose Us?
  • Global Industry Leader: Be part of a globally recognized organization known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability.

  • Collaborative Environment: Work in a supportive, cross-functional team culture that values collaboration and excellence.
  • Impact and Purpose: In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping how our European plants operate — driving integration, standardization, and cost efficiencies that directly contribute to Thai Union’s global sustainability and transformation goals.
About You
  • Proven experience in procurement, category management, or supply chain within a multinational or multi-plant environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge local and global perspectives
  • Demonstrated success in driving change and standardizing processes
  • Proficiency in SAP and Excel; data-driven and analytical mindset
  • Excellent command of English; other European languages are an advantage
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and influencing without direct authority
  • Assertive yet collaborative, with strong communication and influencing skills
