Job summary

Ardmac in Portugal seeks a hands-on Controller to drive financial and operational performance of the plant. You will partner with operations, production, supply chain and corporate finance to ensure accuracy, transparency and compliance of all financial information.

Responsibilities include monthly closing, budgeting, KPI monitoring with Power BI dashboards, cost control and cash flow management. The role requires at least 5 years in industrial finance, strong data analytics and leadership on

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably with an industrial background.
• English proficiency; strong knowledge of financial and cost accounting, standard costing and industrial controlling.
• Advanced data analysis capabilities: trend, variance, scenario modeling.
• Expertise in Power BI and advanced Excel for dashboards and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee the accuracy and reliability of all accounting and financial information for the plant, ensuring compliance with standards, internal controls and tax regulations.
• Oversee monthly closing and ensure timely, high-quality financial reporting.
• Develop plant budgets and forecasts aligned with corporate deadlines.
• Monitor and analyze plant KPIs (financial, operational, cost, quality, inventory).
• Create and maintain dashboards in Power BI and Excel for real-time insights.
• Drive forecasting accuracy through data-driven analyses and trend evaluation.
• Ensure full budgetary control, identify variances, and propose corrective actions.
• Analyze deviations between forecasted and actual results; highlight root causes and risks.
• Monitor raw material consumption, standard costs, production variances, overheads and margins.
