We are currently recruiting an Planning Engineer for a reference client in the Industry & Engineering sector, located in Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of planning/ scheduling functions, from projectdevelopment to final delivery, including review and analysis of contractorschedules, supplier schedules, recovery schedules, time impact analysis,time extension requests and delay claims;
• Collect and analyse information used to plan and schedule projectsandwork in cooperation with Engineering, Procurement, Construction andProject Management;
• Evaluate current procedures and recommend changes to improve theefficiency of planning and scheduling of projects;
• Understand and utilize standard planning and scheduling methodologiesand tools, applying standards and best practices;
• Prepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work using Work BreakdownStructure (WBS) for control and integrity.
• Ensure accuracy of project schedules dates and performed work and coordinate project schedules, tasks, meeting updates, and efficientdistribution of reports;
• Track baselines, perform what-if analysis, and develop contingency plans.
• Plan and prepare production schedules for fabrication, installation, andrepair of industrial process systems.

Requirements:

• Degree or bachelors in engineering;
• Preferred experience: Power, Oil & Gas, Refining or Petrochemicalindustries;
• Excellence using project scheduling tools (Primavera P6 and MS-Project);
• MS Office, with focus on Advanced Excel;
• Availability to travel and work abroad (short and medium term);
