g2 Recruitment seeks a Project Planner for a mechanical contractor delivering a data centre package in the Lisbon region. Start ASAP for a 10–12 month contract, with potential extension as work expands. 53-hour weeks on a 17/4 rotation are expected, with accommodation and a vehicle provided.

Ideal candidates have 5–10+ years in planning/scheduling, experience with MSP or P6 (MSP/P6 preferred), and a mechanical packages background. Data centre experience is highly desirable for this role.

I am currently looking for a Project Planner/P6 Planner from a mechanical engineering background to join a mechanical contractor client of mine delivering a package of works on a data centre in the Lisbon region.

The opportunity is for a 10 - 12 month contract initially, however my client are aiming to win more work on the project lasting for 3 - 4 years. If all goes well, it is likely there could be years of work on this project.

Project Planner / Project Scheduler

START: ASAP – Project Starts November

LOCATION: Lisbon Region - Portugal

WORK PATTERN: 17/4 rotation , my client expects there to be 53 hours of work per week

Rates - Freelance Hourly Rates through an umbrella payroll solution. Accommodation and a vehicle is provided by my client.

The role will suit a planner with experience in the with a strong track record of planning mechanical project delivery on the contractor side.

Ideally the successful candidate will have experience using MSP or Primavera, but for this project you would only be expected to use MSP/P6. You will need to create a planning program, manage the program , complete man loaders, risk matrix and constraint logs to fulfill the successful delivery of this project.

• 5-10+ years' experience with planning / scheduling construction
• Experience with planning tools such as MSP, P6.
• Engineering background is preferred.
• Mechanical Packages of work experience essential
• Experience in fast moving projects, data centre experience is highly desirable
