Mercor is hiring experienced private equity associates to build a financial model from a synthetic deal document pack and to peer-review models prepared by two other contractors on the same transaction.

You will deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, source references, and stated assumptions, and you will assess two anonymized models against a fixed criteria set, providing concise rationales and a review scorecard.

Qualificações

• 2-4 years total experience in IB/PE or equivalent
• Senior experience in consumer/leisure or multi-site services preferred
• English-speaking with strong communication skills

Mercor is hiring experienced private equity associates to build a financial model from a synthetic deal document pack, then peer-review models built by two other contractors on the same transaction.

What you'll do

• Build a working financial model of an assigned consumer / leisure transaction from a synthetic deal document pack
• Deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, source references, and stated assumptions
• Peer-review two anonymized models from other contractors against a fixed set of criteria, with a short written rationale for each and a completed review scorecard

Requirements

• 2-4 years total experience: ~2 years investment banking (Consumer / Retail or generalist M&A - ideally Paris, London, or elsewhere in Europe) followed by 1-2 years in mid-market or large-cap private equity
• Currently or recently an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap PE fund with a consumer / leisure / multi-site services focus (fitness clubs, owned vs. franchise, multi-site roll-ups); a Paris office or French deal experience is preferred
• Able to build a financial model from source documents, without a template
• English-speaking
