PwC’s Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Advisory team supports clients across the full transaction lifecycle, helping them assess strategic alternatives and execute complex transactions with confidence. We advise corporate, private equity and entrepreneurial clients on sell-side and buy-side transactions, mergers, joint ventures, divestitures, capital raisings and other strategic transactions.
As a Senior Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions (Deals) at PwC, you will be a core member of our M&A advisory team, driving execution-focused support across the full deal lifecycle. You will work with clients and cross-functional PwC teams on buy-side and sell-side mandates, leading financial analysis, valuation and transaction deliverables with a focus on quality, insight, and commercial impact.
Be a Part Of Our Team Where You Will
- Lead and support end-to-end M&A execution activities, including financial modelling, valuation (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions), and competitive analysis;
- Prepare high-quality client deliverables such as pitch books, teasers, CIMs, management presentations and transaction recommendations;
- Conduct detailed financial statement analysis;
- Oversee a virtual data room and manage a due diligence process for buy and sell side engagements;
- Supervise and coach junior team members, providing feedback and promoting knowledge sharing;
- Contribute to business development efforts, including proposals and market research.
Let’s Talk About You. If You …
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field;
- Bring 3–5 years of relevant experience in M&A advisory, investment banking, Big 4 transaction services, corporate finance, or a similar environment within a leading advisory or investment banking platform;
- Possess strong technical skills in valuation, financial modelling, and transaction structuring;
- Communicate confidently and effectively, with the ability to engage C‑suite executives, investors, and buyers;
- Have a solid academic background and, ideally, relevant professional certifications;
- Are fluent in English and able to produce polished, professional written and verbal communications;
- Consider Luxembourgish, French or German as strong assets (but not requirements);
- Are willing to travel occasionally depending on client and project needs.
