KEO International Consultants in Porto, Portugal, seeks an Accountant - Accounts Payable and Payroll to manage day-to-day accounting, supplier payments, and Portuguese payroll.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and hands-on knowledge of Portuguese payroll, VAT, and accounts payable, with collaboration across finance, HR and external providers.

Qualifications

• Portuguese payroll knowledge, including IRS/Tax withholding and Social Security.
• Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable and supplier invoice processing.
• Strong Excel skills: formulas, lookups, pivots.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processing and supplier invoice verifications.
• Own end-to-end Portuguese payroll processing and related HR collaboration.
• Support monthly closing, financial reporting, and year-end activities.
